We don't ask.
We exist because security through obscurity isn't security at all. Every system we probe, every protocol we reverse, every tool we build — it all goes back to one principle: knowledge should be free.
Independent by design.
No venture funding. No corporate sponsors. No NDAs. We answer to curiosity, not quarterly targets. The collective runs on shared knowledge and open-source contributions. If it can't be published, we're not interested.
Offense informs defense.
You can't protect what you don't understand. We break things apart to understand how they work — and then we publish what we find so everyone can build better. Red team thinking, blue team purpose.
Open by default.
Every tool, every write-up, every technique. If we built it, it's on GitHub. If we learned it, it's on the blog. The only thing we gatekeep is nothing.
"The street finds its own uses for things."
— William Gibson, Neuromancer
We break things to understand them — not to cause harm. Read how we operate.
